Oakland Marriott City Center

Checking in was easy. The receptionist quickly handed me my key. My queen room was spacious and clean on the 8th floor. The hotel's location is central, right next to the convention center and near the shooting star cafe, which serves amazing food late at night.

The setting was quite marvellous within easy reach of Chinatown.

The room was lovely looking with an exceptional view of the bay. The location was favourable, close to Venue. We truly enjoyed the industrial area just off San Francisco airport and great restaurants and the local farmers market.

The check-in process was quick and easy. The queen room was spacious and clean on the 8th floor. The location is excellent, near many dining options and attractions. The restaurant served delicious food late at night 😄

Hotel staff friendly.

Ac didn't work well. Hard time checking in as hotel didn't show our request for concierge room. I towel for each person. No newspaper delivered for first 2 days. Elevators took way too long. Wouldn't stay again.

The Staff were fantastic especially Emil at the front desk thank you for making our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Had to pay for parking.

The stay was great, room was comfortable, view was perfect. Staff was very helpful and kind.

The location was the key in my booking there. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was outstanding in service and friendliness.

Having to pay for internet, although the manager ended up rescinding the charge as a customer service gesture as part of the resolution of an unrelated issue. Her handling of the issue was one example of the excellent service and attitude of the hotel's staff.

Check-in was straightforward, receiving the key card upon arrival. The room was spacious and immaculate, with a fantastic view of the sunrise. Dining options were limited, but the small room service menu was satisfactory. The area felt a bit deserted at night, requiring extra caution. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the bathroom could benefit from improvement.

Staying at the Marriott was awesome, Location was very good, near bart, so you can go to San fransisco and berkeley! The view was very good, we saw the city!

Comfortable beds & breakfast was excellent!

The hotel offered fine views and a great location for our family vacation, with easy access to nearby attractions. We especially appreciated the clean amenities and friendly staff who were accommodating when we traveled with our kiddie.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options available in the hotel.

The older, over 50-years old, staff, especially the locksmith who solved the problem of three card-key attempts by the front desk (younger) staff.

Front desk staff didn't get card-key to work until after 3 attempts. Hard on travellers who have come a long way and are very tired.

Location 1/2 block from BART, many inexpensive places to eat within walking distance of hotel, very clean
